WDA and SCCIOB Launch New

"Aspiring Productivity EXcellence" (APEX) Programme

The new APEX programme is designed to help companies, especially SMEs in the services sector to overcome labour crunch and maximise revenue.

Ms Julia Ng, Senior Director of Workforce Growth and Development Division, WDA, said: "With the current tight labour market situation, enhancing productivity and service innovation is the key to staying ahead of competition.  For the first time, services-related SMEs can look forward to a customised local programme, where they can master cutting edge practices from reputable international experts and national productivity centres, and be equipped with hands-on knowledge on productivity concepts and tools.  APEX, which is targeted at broad-based SMEs particularly in services-related sectors, will help these SMEs to develop and implement enterprise-wide productivity improvements that are best suited to their companies' needs."

"We designed and developed the APEX programme with the SMEs in mind, to impart knowledge and skills that their managers can learn and apply at their workplace immediately," added Ms Josephine Lee, General Manager, SCCIOB.
